Debbie Morris, wife of Gateway Church pastor and pounder Robert Morris, says her husband is showing signs of possible infection.
"Morning Update:::@psrobertmorris is a warrior! There are early signs of possible infection. But there are other signs of improvement," Debbie posted on Instagram. "We are rejoicing in the improvements and attacking the concerns in prayer."
An air ambulance rushed Robert to the hospital Sunday after complications from a hernia surgery last week.
Paramedics lost Robert's pulse and blood pressure on the flight.
Once at the hospital, doctors discovered a large blood clot and internal bleeding. Robert underwent four surgeries and is now recovering.
"We hope to get him out of the bed some today. Believe me, he wants to get up! I think he thinks he will walk out of the hospital when he proves he can stand. Of course, after losing so much blood and enduring 4 surgeries he is to[oo] weak for that. Getting to a chair will be a victory. Big Prayer Requests ::Any infection to be arrested :::Renewed strength #yourprayersmatter," Debbie posted to Instagram.
